To use this example of statistical analysis using R.

1.  Set up a local copy of R, BioConductor, and the LIMMA and NLME libraries
(use a Web search for BioConductor to locate these software packages)
 
 2.  Download all of the files in this directory into one directory on the local machine

3.  View the files bookscript1.R and bookscript2.R which correspond to the scripts on pages 636, Table 13.5  (bookscript1.R)
and page 641, Table 13.8 (bookscript2.R) with a simple text editor. Do not make any changes.
There have been some corrections made to the program lines compared to the text.

4.  The script files are extensively commented with explanations for obtaining a graphic output.
